SPEAKER: John R. Lewis, VMD, FAVD, Dipl. AVDC is an Assistant Professor of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: After attending this four-hour lecture, participants are expected to feel comfortable with decision making regarding indications for extractions in dogs and cats. Participants will become familiar with closed and open extraction techniques, including creation of oral surgical flaps for extraction of multiple teeth in the same quadrant. Finally, a discussion of complications of extraction and how to deal with them will allow attendees to be prepared when procedures take unexpected turns.

REFUND POLICY: If you find that you are unable to attend a course, your registration is transferable to a coworker upon written notice, or, a credit may be issued for use at a future date, to be used within 2 years. Due to the high costs associated with scheduling seminars, no refunds will be granted within 21 days prior to this event. Written requests received before 3 weeks prior to the course will be refunded less a $25 processing fee. No refunds or credits issued for “no shows”.

CANCELLATION POLICY: VetDent CE Associates reserves the right to revise program presentations, or to cancel programs if registration criteria are not met. A course may be cancelled if conditions occur beyond their control, resulting in a limited liability of a full refund of registration fees only.
