Normal vs. Abnormal Findings in the Oral Cavity
SPEAKER:
Jodi Kristel, CVT, VTS (Dentistry) is the staff Certified Veterinary Technician Specialist in Dentistry at the Ryan Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: This course will provide the participant with an overview of the most common findings in the oral cavity of dogs and cats. The normal anatomical structures examined during a thorough oral exam will be discussed, including those that are oftentimes confused with abnormal pathology. The most common oral tumors in dogs and cats will be included, as well as an overview of stomatitis, and resorptive lesions. Some of the common pathologies found in the teeth including caries, pulpitis and malocclusions will be discussed. After completing this course, the participant will feel confident in recognizing abnormalities in the oral cavity.

REFUND POLICY: If you find that you are unable to attend a course, your registration is transferable to a coworker upon written notice, or, a credit may be issued for use at a future date, to be used within 2 years. Due to the high costs associated with scheduling seminars, no refunds will be granted within 21 days prior to this event. Written requests received before 3 weeks prior to the course will be refunded less a $25 processing fee. No refunds or credits issued for “no shows”.

A course may be cancelled if conditions occur beyond their control, resulting in a limited liability of a full refund of registration fees only.
